AP Course Information

Any students requiring test accommodations must have an approved SSD code from the College Board. Students who qualify and need their code should see their counselor before registering. Students with approved accommodations who do not request their testing accommodations at the time of registration may not be able to utilize those testing accommodations.

For the 2024 AP exams, students at Mattituck High School will be registering online.

The AP exam registration process is two steps, (Exam Registration and AP Classroom Registration with JOIN CODES) but both should be completed in one sitting when the student and parent/guardian do this together. Even if you do not plan to take the AP exam, you need to complete both steps to access the College Board’s AP Classroom resources. Both steps must be completed in order to have AP exams ordered:

Step 1: Begin the process by registering at Total Registration (link below) Here you will indicate both the AP courses you are taking this year and the exams you wish to take. You will receive your join codes and directions to complete the second required step. Any exam fees will be paid online so be sure to have a debit card or credit card available before beginning registration. There is a mail-in payment option for those who need it

Step 2: Use the join codes provided at the completion of step one to enroll the student's AP courses and exams in the College Board's AP Classroom system (MyAP.CollegeBoard.org). For more information on the AP Exams and ordering process you can visit the AP Page on the MHS Guidance Webpage where you will find a PowerPoint Demo.
