Cutchogue East 4th Grade class visit to the WMHS Studio

Mattituck High School's in-house news crew, WMHS News, hosted a 4th-grade class from Cutchogue East's Room 109 in their TV studio today. The class was invited to learn about the high school’s media program and participate in a collaborative broadcast, offering a unique opportunity for both groups to connect and create together.

Eleven members of the WMHS production team led a hands-on learning experience for the elementary students, guiding them through various roles in production, filming, editing, interviewing, and on-camera reporting. Room 109 students worked alongside the WMHS crew both in the studio and on location to produce a broadcast in the format of The Morning Show. The finished product will be shared on the WMHS YouTube channel in the coming weeks.
