Principal's Message
A Warm Welcome from Principal Patrick K. Burke
Dear Mattituck Jr./Sr. High School Community,
Last year was an exceptional one—filled with achievement, growth, and a deepened commitment to our District Mission. As we begin a new school year, our focus remains clear: to ensure that all graduates leave Mattituck-Cutchogue Jr./Sr. High School with confidence, academic excellence, and the resilience to overcome whatever life may bring.
As I begin my second year as Building Principal and my 26th year in education, I am energized and inspired by the opportunity to continue building on our successes. Our goal is to improve upon our accomplishments and expand the academic, social, and emotional supports available to our students. Together, we will create new opportunities where every student is seen, heard, and empowered to participate fully in our building-wide culture.
Mattituck-Cutchogue Jr./Sr. High School is a place where all students have a voice and a sense of belonging. With the dedication of our faculty and staff, we will continue fostering a safe, inclusive, and dynamic learning environment that nurtures the whole child. Communication and collaboration remain key to our shared success, and I encourage all families and community members to stay connected, involved, and engaged throughout the year.
Thank you for your continued support. I am excited for the journey ahead and confident that this year will be filled with meaningful learning, personal growth, and memorable experiences for all.
Warm regards,
Patrick K. Burke
